Equipment for explosive atmospheres: implemented 2014/34 / EU Directive

Implemented, the new ATEX 2014/34 / EU Directive on equipment intended to use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The main changes are as follows:
– Reference Number: according to the model YYYY / No / EU
– Definition: horizontal integration of the new regulatory framework
– Economic operators (manufacturers, authorized representatives, importers, distributors) and their obligations
– Harmonised standards and presumption of conformity: reference to Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012 of european Standardisation
– CE Marking: reference to Regulation (EC) No 765/2008
– Notified Bodies: more detailed requirements and procedures under the new framework
– Market surveillance and safeguard procedure: the reinforcement activities and new streamlined procedures
– ATEX Committee and implementing acts: reference to Regulation (EU) No 182/2011 of execution of Commission decisions on formal objections to harmonized standards, safeguard clauses against products and the competence of notified bodies
– EU Declaration of Conformity: more detailed content, and a model, by the new regulatory framework
– The EU-type examination certificate: conditions of validity and expiration date from the new regulatory framework
